CRL Highly Commended for Innovative M6 River Dane Bridge Refurbishment Project

CRL recently had the honour of attending the prestigious Concrete Repair Association Awards 2024, held on October 11 at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester. This event is a significant occasion for the concrete repair industry, celebrating excellence and recognizing the remarkable achievements of projects, companies, and individuals within the sector. It also served as a platform for raising funds for Asthma and Lung UK, with a total of £2,170 collected for the charity.

On the night, CRL proudly received the “Highly Commended” award for its exceptional work on the refurbishment of the M6 River Dane Bridge. This project stood out for its innovative approach to addressing complex structural repairs, showcasing CRL’s expertise in corrosion prevention for reinforced concrete and masonry structures. The team overcame numerous challenges, particularly in extensive corrosion control for National Highways, employing cutting-edge techniques to ensure the bridge’s longevity and safety.
