CRL was established in 1955 by Major Mark and Albert Hill and during the last six decades has grown to become renowned for its innovative engineering solutions delivered in a safe and sustainable.
Our work spans a variety of asset maintenance projects which includes marine jetties, bridges, residential tower blocks, water storage reservoirs, power stations and wind farms. We are able to offer a complete service from the initial condition surveys, through to the refurbishment stage and finally on-going management.
In many sectors we have long term framework agreements which enable us to provide an efficient quality service by working closely with our clients and working within their operational constraints to achieve their business objectives.

As members of the Civil Engineering Contractors Association we adhere to the “Carbon in Construction” initiative which aims to reduce carbon emissions, and improve resource efficiency and waste management.

CRL operates as a sustainable company as the very nature of our business contributes to helping our clients by managing and extending the life of their assets through repair and refurbishment rather than demolition, disposal and re-construction.

At CRL, we believe our success as a business is driven by our commitment and ability to keep our workforce, our business partners, our suppliers, our subcontractors and members of the public safe.
CRL directly employ our own Safety Advisors who have the responsibility to carry out our programme of Safety Audits on our sites and issue internal safety alerts to our staff and operatives highlighting specific risks.
