Mark Donkin (Senior Supervisor) and Carl Naylor (Senior Supervisor) successfully completed the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge last Sunday. Embarking on their journey from the coach at 8:45AM, they only finally descended from the final mountain at 9:30PM. As the sun set, they had to cover the last few miles in darkness, but thankfully, they were well-prepared with torches, - although it was still a bit challenging to stay on the trail. Nevertheless, they persevered and achieved their goal!
Reflecting on the grueling experience, Mark commented, “Don't ask me how we did it, because it was brutal. I could hardly walk yesterday, as every muscle in my legs was still aching.”
Mark, Carl, the entire team, and Donna's family wish to express their heartfelt gratitude to CRL for their support of an amazing friend! Wife! Mother! and Aunty...in her fight against ALS (a progressive neurodegenerative terminal disease). They extend a heartfelt thank you to all those who generously donated. The funds raised will undoubtedly make a significant impact with Donna's ongoing treatment and trials, and ensure that with the best care possible she wil be able to create the lasting memories with her family and freinds.
