CRL is pleased to announce the appointment of Adrian Pike to the CRL Board as our new Global Framework Director. This well-deserved promotion reflects Adrian’s exceptional leadership, deep industry expertise, and pivotal role in advancing CRL’s operations both in the UK and internationally.
Adrian joined CRL in May 2022, bringing with him over 35 years of experience in the building and civil engineering sector, having delivered infrastructure projects across more than 50 countries. Since joining the business, he has been instrumental in driving forward CRL’s delivery in the Highways sector most notably through the management of the company’s involvement in the prestigious National Highways Scheme Delivery Framework (SDF).
In his new role, Adrian will continue to lead CRL’s strategic approach within the UK Highways sector while also expanding his focus to broader opportunities across the UK. In addition, he will take on full operational responsibility for CRL’s growing presence in Australia, where the company is involved in key government infrastructure projects.
Adrian holds a degree in Construction Management from Sheffield Hallam University and is a proud member and advocate of the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation. His impressive project portfolio includes iconic infrastructure works such as the Prince of Wales Bridge, Palm Jumeirah Gateway in the UAE, and the Temburong Bridge in Brunei. He is widely recognised for his deep knowledge of structural waterproofing, corrosion protection, structural repairs, and expansion joints.
Prior to joining CRL, Adrian spent 12 years managing a global construction business based in the Middle East. His extensive international experience and leadership acumen have made a significant impact on CRL’s strategic direction and operational excellence.
