These bridges connect Victoria Park foreshore, Heirisson Island, and Perth’s CBD at Point Fraser, incorporating a 6-metre-wide shared path for pedestrians and cyclists.

As the Matacryl system was the final surface (unlike other Matacryl WPM applications typically covered with asphalt), high attention to detail was essential to ensure the finished product was aesthetically flawless. Any imperfections in the wearing or top coat would have remained visible.
CRL’s experienced team travelled from Melbourne to Perth, completing the work in two separate stints, one for each bridge. The crew endured challenging weather conditions and long working hours, with a shared commitment to delivering high-quality, visually consistent results. This effort underscored CRL’s reputation for reliability and technical excellence on complex infrastructure projects.
