CRL was engaged by Downer to deliver refurbishment works at two sewerage treatment plants in Wagga Wagga — Narrung STP and Kooringal STP. The project formed part of Downer’s contractual requirement to return both facilities to Wagga Wagga City Council with a minimum residual service life of 15+ years.

Structures Treated:
  • Chlorine Contact Tanks (CCTs) and inlets (~12 years old)
  • Narrung Clarifier (~40 years old)
  • Filter Gallery (leaking joints)
  • Aeration Tank (external cracking)

Scope of Works:
  • Crack and joint injection
  • Concrete breakout and structural repair
  • Joint sealing and repair
  • Application of protective coatings

Project Delivery:

  • External Conditions:
  • Weather delays and power outages impacted scheduling.
  • Strict adherence to safety and environmental controls ensured zero incidents
